We the ladies of My Sisters' Kitchen is really proud of saying we ourself organised one day workshop at My Sisters' Kitchen on 24th October, 2009 with the help of Brenda Logan. We, all women and men of refugee background are really new and we want to learn something from every community. That thing we get from My Sisters' Kitchen. We all respect and want this project.

We ourself talk and discuss ourself that we want to know the working and pay system and types of work in new country. We ask lady called Minh from NT Working Women's Centre. She said she is really happy to help us all the time, if we need, and she explain lots of thing on that day regarding working and paying system in Australia.

So we, the mainly from Bhutanese and Burmese ladies and men,  feel it is our success with the helps of My Sisters' Kitchen. On that workshop we organised  lots of food and drink, we want to say thank to this project. We have good friends and coordination with each other. It is a good place of meeting together and sharing each others feelings and food.

We communally doing cooking in every event at Darwin Community Arts and we feel we are very much benefit from it. We are really getting helps and support in our Festivals too. Bhakti Mainaly
