Spicy Bean Vermicelli Soup (Burmese food)

Ingredients

  • Bean vermicelli
  • Dried lily flowers
  • Dried black fungus
  • Dried white fungus
  • Dried soya beans
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Ginger cooking oil
  • Salt
  • Tumeric
  • Fish sauce
  • Black pepper
  • Chilli powder
  • Lemongrass leaf seasoning powder
  • Coriander
  • Lime

Recipe

  1. Boil enough water you need to cook all ingredients with
  2. For 30 minutes soak vermicelli, dried soya beans, dried lily flower, dried black fungus and white fungus in seperate bowls
  3. Wash and dry ingredients very carefully
  4. Chop into small pieces, all having similar and equal size
  5. Chop onion, ground garlic, ginger,coriander and wedges of lime
  6. Heat oil in a saucepan on medium heat add spices and fry until brown in colour
  7. Add boiling water bring back to boil and add black pepper and lemon grass until everything is cooked
