Crostata Della Nonna (Granma's Cake)- submitted at Darwin Fringe Festival, 2009
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 500g flour
- 250g sugar
- 300g butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon
Recipe
- Mix buter & sugar
- Add rest of ingredients
- Put into fridge for 10 mins
- Make it flat & put on to a tray
- Spread it with your choice of jam, chocolate spread or vanilla sauce
- You can also save some of pastry to make a few stripes to fix on top
- Cook in a pre-heated oven for 25 mins at 175 degrees celcius
